The Story of Jonathan Daniels
Coming up Saturday, August 14th, EpiscopalOnline.org will be hosting a free streaming event to celebrate Jonathan Myrick Daniels. Daniels is a modern American hero and martyr in The Episcopal Church and an example to be celebrated.
Jonathan Myrick Daniels (March 20, 1939 – August 20, 1965) was an Episcopal seminarian, killed for his work in the American civil rights movement. His death helped galvanize support for the civil rights movement within the Episcopal church. He is regarded as a martyr in the Episcopal church.
Here Am I, Send Me is a documentary on the life and times of a modern Episcopal martyr and American hero.
